On November 30th, 2007 the “Hydrogen & Fuel CellDay” took place at the PSI (Paul Scherrer Institute) in Villigen.
This event, organised by the Swiss Federal Department of Energy, attracted more than one hundred specialists from the field of hydrogen and fuel cells.
The main goal of this meeting was to reinforce contacts and future partnerships between a number of players on the Swiss hydrogen scene.
Many companies, such as IHT, were represented as well as scientists and academics from around the world. All of them had the possibility to present their work, goals and available resources regarding their business activities and in particular their Research & Development program.
The “Swiss Impulse Day” provided participants with excellent insight into what is going on in Switzerland regarding hydrogen production, fuel cells, storage systems and transportation of hydrogen.
Thanks to its presentation on electrolysis and applicable projects related to renewable energy sources, many people from the audience showed high interest for IHT activities. Representatives of the Swiss Federal Department of Energy were particularly impressed and offered IHT spontaneous support related to a current project in Spain, the ITHER project. |
